Swords will test your skill in sword fighting as you move from simple
swings to finding your opponent’s weaknesses, judging when to block an
attack, selecting the right mystical sword for the battle at hand, and
using special, fantastical moves to slay the enemy! Epic Swords is free
to play, or you can choose to pay real money for extra items.
New: Achievements! Unlock, save and share fun milestones as you collect silver, defeat enemies or achieve feats of skill like
Invincible (victory without taking any damage).

Castles pay you taxes every day! The more castles you have won, the
more free silver you collect. Use your extra silver to try the new
Ultra-Block potion, it makes your blocks last longer and recharge
instantly so you can block as often as you want! But it doesn't last
forever so save it for a tough battle.
Some combat features:
Power Attack:
When energy is fully charged you can tap the energy meter to
super-charge your next attack. Does x2 damage, cannot be blocked and
halves the chance of miss. But be careful when you use it -- it resets
your sword energy so you lose your per-attack power-up bonus until your
sword recharges.
Perfect Block: Several folks asked for a
way to recharge block faster. Now you can -- if you time it right! Start
your block just before the enemy's attack hits and you get Perfect
Block -- instant block recharge! But don't be late :)
Some hints when fighting Spectral opponents: You must keep your sword powered up vs Spectral: do
not use power attack, do
not
change swords. Pick the sword you want to use against the Spectral
opponent and use it for the previous battle also so it is powered up,
then keep using it when you reach the Spectral battle. If the spectral
battle is first there is always a way to get another power up potion by
replaying another castle.
What's New
V1.1.6
& 1.1.7 have bug fixes, e.g. a work-around for an OpenGL bug in
some older phones that causes parts of the sword picker and store UI to
appear black, and fixes for various rare crashes on phone models whose
manufacturers have (ahem) eclectic implementations of some Android
features.
